| | We specialise in assessing individuals in relation to work roles. This can be done prior to hiring or promotion or as part of a talent management process (e.g. identifying potential).
We identify the strengths and weaknesses of people and help them build on their strengths and either develop or work around their weaker areas.
Psychometric personality tests. These measure a person's view of themselves using a structured questionnaire. The key dimensions are extraversion / introversion; conscientiousness; thinking style / openness to experience; agreeableness and emotional stability.
Psychometric ability tests. Using a timed test we can measure critical thinking; verbal, numerical or abstract reasoning; and situational judgment. Online ability tests should be supervised or validated with a second supervised test to counter identity issues.
Psychometric values / motivations tests. These are similar to personality tests but measure the extent to which different factors drive people people e.g. money, competition, achievement, social contact etc.
360-degree feedback. This would not be used in a selection process. It measures perceptions of co-workers along a set of competencies deemed essential to the person's job.
Assessment exercises. This covers asking the person to give a presentation; in-tray exercises; business simulations; leaderless group tasks etc.
Interviews. This covers, broadly, behavioural and competency-based interviews, and more in-depth sessions intended to follow-up on themes identified in psychometric tests.

We can then work with the person to identify personal development goals, and plan milestones, time-scales and resources.
